WHY SPONSOR A NEST?

Your sponsorship directly supports our comprehensive sea turtle conservation program, including:

Nesting Site Protection: We monitor and safeguard nesting sites to protect eggs from predators and human disturbances.
Scientific Research: Funds help us conduct crucial research on nesting success, migration patterns, and population dynamics.
Marine Debris Cleanup: Sponsorship contributes to our beach and underwater cleanups, reducing threats from plastic and debris.
Community Education: Your support helps fund educational programs that raise awareness and foster community involvement in sea turtle conservation.

Your nest adoption donation helps protect and conserve endangered sea turtles! Funds support conservation science to learn more about nesting, education and Turtle Talks to teach the public about sea turtles, signage and materials to protect each nest, and other activities that promote sea turtle conservation and awareness.

You can use your adoption to promote a business, organization, or group (maybe a family reunion) as well as celebrate the birth of a child/grandchild, wedding, special occasion such as graduation or birthday, or to remember a loved one. It is great exposure for those walking the beach and a unique conversation piece for your business, office or home afterwards.

There are a limited number of nests available to adopt and they will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we encourage you to reserve yours today!

4 Tickets to the Nest Excavation: Churamura’s Nest Techs excavate every sea turtle nest to collect data. This takes place 5 nights after the first baby sea turtle emerged from the nest. Join the exciting, educational event as our guest

Certificate of Adoption: A certificate detailing the nest’s discovery date, species, and location. (Printed certificate available upon request for an additional fee; digital PDF provided)

Exclusive Nest Information: After excavation, we will provide details on your nest’s hatching and emergence success rates, clutch size, and more

End-of-Season Report: A comprehensive report on Churamura’s conservation efforts and outcomes for all nests during the season

Individual Sponsorship: $500 / ¥50,000
Corporate Sponsorship: $1,000 / ¥100,000
