Some experts say that over 600,000 tons of plastic fishing nets are being discarded into the ocean every year, and every 2 minutes an unintended animal dies in them, creating an invisible environmental disaster. We are monitoring the situation around Okinawan waters and committed to removing them when discovered.<\/p>

Beach Cleaning<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our monthly beach cleanups are a permanent fixture around the central coast of Okinawa for the last 6 years, attracting community groups, schools, tourists and industry to participate. In 2025 alone, we collected over 3.5 tones of beach trash thanks to the dedication of our cleanup team and support from volunteers.<\/p>
