Ghost Net Busting
Some experts say that over 600,000 tons of plastic fishing nets are being discarded into the ocean every year, and every 2 minutes an unintended animal dies in them, creating an invisible environmental disaster. We are monitoring the situation around Okinawan waters and committed to removing them when discovered.

Beach Cleaning
Our monthly beach cleanups are a permanent fixture around the central coast of Okinawa for the last 6 years, attracting community groups, schools, tourists and industry to participate. In 2025 alone, we collected over 3.5 tones of beach trash thanks to the dedication of our cleanup team and support from volunteers.

教育活動
Throughout the year, we are asked to speak at schools, community groups, businesses and public events, in the hope that we can spread awareness of the vulnerability of the coastal ecosystem and the threats that they face.

ウミガメの保護
Throughout the year, our passionate and deicated Rangers and volunteers are on-call to respond to any emergency, whether it be a rescue, sudden hatching, stranding investigation, nest protection or patrolling the coastline.
